I
chose AS Media Studies for a number of reasons. Firstly I enjoy the
every day media around us, such as movies of different genres, and interesting TV
programs. I also chose media because I found it interesting at GCSE and i wish
to study it at university. Another reason why I chose to study media is because
it’s very different from the other a levels, it’s more about exploring
technologies and contexts which is what I enjoy and it also goes very well with my other a levels, which are sociology and English Literature. I hope to learn the different strategies
used to create a media piece and wanting to know different interpretations and
views towards media.
