Media Awards

Insincere:
In this piece of media, the camera work was really interesting allowing us to immediately know the story line. There were many camera angles used as there were more low angle shots on the protagonists and the high angle shots on the other character. There were also many enigma codes as lots of flashbacks were shown, and the use of dimming the scenes that separated them. There was use of high key lighting making the characters look glamorous, and also their clothing allowed us to see that they were business men.

Trill:

This piece of media included lots of low key lighting suggesting that its going to be a 'thriller' or a crime scene. The props were weapons such as guns which signified the violence in this sequence. The clothing the characters wore also made us identify they were gangsters. The shots used was low angles mostly to show status of each characters.

True lies:

Identification was really effective in this piece of media as we got to see the characters faces in close ups, and also a glimpse of their background. This was effective as there was high key lighting making the characters look glamorous. The camera work used in this sequence was mainly close ups then long shots then closeups, creating a suture of shot reverse shot.
